This story (while funny and horrifying) reminds me of one of my new favorite heroines, Ruby Lu. Isabelle might like these books. One Saturday Ruby Lu decides to drive herself and her baby brother to Chinese school. She gets herself into other situations and is absolutely hysterical (think a Chinese-American Ramona Quimby).
