Okay people the holidays are upon us. And I need something from you... cookies!! Actually I want your recipes. I am particularly interested in linzer (window) cookie recipes and anything that freezes or keeps well. But I will take anything that is delicious or fun to do with kids. I have a cookie swap coming up next week and I want to knock their socks off.

Hey - this is my favorite food blogger - www dot smittenkitchen dot com. Coincidentally, she has a browned butter cookie today (that I am eager to try) - and in the comments she links to her cookie page that has tons of cookie recipes. Not certain that there is one for the linzer cookies, but I find that all the recipes she has on here that I have tried are delish. http://smittenkitchen.com/cookie-recipes/
Sending you a recipe via email! And I second splolly's Smitten Kitchen recommendation. I love that site. It's like food porn. Such gorgeous photographs, and her pie tutorial resulted in the flakiest pie crust I have ever made!
I read Smitten Kitchen every day. It's wonderful. Would an eggnog cookie recipe do?
PS: getting the honey today! wooooot!
