Blogs are not dead!

Those other services are (Twitter, Flickr, Facebook) are different. It's like comparing MicroSoft Word to iPhoto, they are completely different types of applications; one might have more beautiful output but you can't word process with iPhoto.

Nah, I don't think so. Not for me anyway. There's more to share in a blog than on Twitter or even Facebook. I'm not much of a Twitter fan so I guess I can't provide a better argument.
