Note: I found this was more realistically four servings.

Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Which One First

Thanks to those who gave me recommendations. Books are like crack to me so if I don't go in with a list I never get out of the store. Once there I was limited by what was available in paperback. That ruled out the Sedaris book plus it was $25! I'll have to wait until it is paperback or someone is done with their copy. And the "The Mistress of the Art of Death" by Arianna Franklin which looks awesome was reserve only because they get snatched off the shelves as soon as they come in. Guess I should have planned ahead. I came home with two books off the buy one get one half price table: "Omnivore's Dilemma" which both Jeff and I have wanted for a while and "Body Surfing" by Anita Shreve because it looks interesting and takes place in New Hampshire. I am a sucker for NE plotted books. Which brings me to the third book which is "The Double Bind" which was recommended by Suzanne in the comments. She just made it sound hard to miss. And the author's last name (Bohjalian) is almost as cool as Druzba. I got more ideas by email but was too late for this trip. So feel free to send me anything you are done with and I will pay postage. I can get a stockpile together. And anyone can have what I am done with too.

So now I really should go pack. I am off to Michigan tomorrow for a combo grantees meeting and annual meeting for a national group. I have only been to Detroit (airport) and Ypsilanti (hi Holly!) so I am looking forward to seeing way up on the mitten part. These meetings always have fun after hours activities too. I am skipping the tall ship ride tomorrow night. I need to see a boat before I can determine whether I can get on it. I have made it my mission to not throw up in front of colleagues. But I will be at the bonfire later. And my secretary had registered me and signed me up for every outing. Thursday I was signed to go on a pub crawl, wine tasting and excursion all simultaneously. I had to opt out of everything but the excursion because it involves shopping which is something I love more than beer or wine. And before you get all up in arms, tax payer money does not pay for this part or my time. I am also looking forward to sleeping through the night and be able to get ready quickly in the morning. Not sure if I will have internet access but I will be able to Twitter from my phone. Back Friday.
