Priceless Support

Before going back to work from maternity leave one should do something special. My something special was going for a professional bra fitting. I had a friend go several months ago and said it changed her life. Jeff had also pointed out the store when it opened downtown. I was pregnant at the time and decided to wait until after the baby came and I had time to get back to my regular shape. Finally I was ready for an appointment. I am going to describe it here but you (or your gal) really have to experience it yourself. You go in and they measure you in your current bra and bring you a few to try. They also explain how a bra is supposed to fit. Once they have confirmed your size, which is my case was radically different than what I was wearing, they bring you everything they have in that size. I mean EVERYTHING in the store. I was delighted to have almost a hundred bras to try on. I had never experienced that before. I decided to narrow down my choices to pretty ones that would hopefully also be practical for every day. An hour later I had six I loved and the saleswoman went off to get the matching bottoms. I ended up buying three sets and putting the others on my wish list. How cool is that? Jeff can go in and buy one of those or pick anything else because they have my sizes on file. As I was checking out they threw in a free t-shirt. That's when you know you have spent too much money. Later on I showed them to Jeff who was at first a bit skeptical of the investment. When I showed him the difference under a t-shirt he told me I looked like a model. He also marveled at what difference the right size and adjustments make.

The proof that it wasn't just me that noticed the difference is all the compliments I have been getting. No, not on my breasts. But comments about how I look skinny. I swear you can look and feel like you lost five pounds just getting the right bra and your clothes hang better. I know I sound like a religious convert but I cannot say enough about how great it is. As Jeff said last night when I was getting ready to shower, "Worth every penny."
