Little Sunshine

I didn't want to go on and on on this blog about Harper. And it turns out I hardly post about him. Oops. He will be 3 months old next Wed and I can hardly believe it. It has flown by but I think I have done a good job of trying to cherish each moment. He is such a good baby and Jeff and I are always telling each other how cute and happy he is. Part of it is experience and confidence in our parenting and the other part is Harper's personality. I go back to work next week and I get tears in my eyes when I think about missing his pudgy face and even the feel of him in my arms. He is a great sleeper and most nights goes 8-10 hours. He eats well and naps well most of the time. He spends time looking at his fingers or playing with his toys and or hanging in his baby gym. His favorite thing to do is watch his family around him. Harper is completely fascinated by his brother and sister. I thought they would find him boring because he can't do much but they love to just sit next to him and talk to him. They also attempt to translate his baby talk. And while things are more difficult when you have a baby along we have tried to make sure we still do the things we normally do as a family. Harper is pretty portable and loves to get out. Jeff can't wait until he is old enough to strapped into a backpack carrier and taken up mountains. So that is the update on Harper. He really has clicked as the last piece of our family puzzle.
