We had some excitement here last night. Around 10:30 I had my first real contractions. I sent a text to Erika to put her on alert. At 11:30 I had one so severe I had to hold on to the counter to stand up. I was on the phone with my mom to put her on alert and when that one came I told her to come up. I did not have any more strong ones after that. But they were consistently 6 minutes apart until 2:30am. I had gone to bed around 1:00 to try and rest. In between the contractions the baby would go nutty so I wasn't getting much sleep. I woke up at 3:30 to use the bathroom and realized they must be gone or not strong enough to wake me. I haven't had anything significant today. A few here and there but nothing to indicate we're back on target. Both of my parents stayed over so my dad could stay with Keegan while my mom came with us. Instead we all slept through the night and then my mom got Keegan ready and to school before Jeff and I got up at 8:30. Now my dad is at work, my mom is off running her errands and Jeff stayed home with me in case anything else happens. He put the stroller together this morning and we're going to install the car seat. I have my toiletries packed and ready to throw in my suitcase. I would love a 6-6-08 or 6-7-08 baby. I was going to go to Coach today to shop for a wallet but I'm thinking that would not be a smart idea. Sticking close to home sounds good.
