Oh The Humidity!

No 6-6-08 or 6-07-08 baby even though everyone agreed that would be cool. A few contractions Friday and some yesterday too but nothing powerful. So we went on with our plans. Yesterday morning we took the kids to H*me Depot for the kids' workshop. I had been waiting for this one because they got to make catamarans. Keegan is crazy about boats. It was Isabelle's first time so she got her apron and first project pin. Afterwards we went to get her a bathing suit and unfortunately I had to buy some maternity shorts. I was really hoping to avoid being pregnant in the hot weather. Not only am I still pregnant but we are having a rare heat wave. They are expecting us to break records today. It is horribly humid. Once again the reason I left Virginia eleven years ago. In the afternoon we headed down for Jack's first birthday party. At the end the kids were all playing with water guns. It's amazing to see all those babies grown into kids.

This morning I woke up with a migraine which I am sure is from the heat. Fortunately when we fell in love with this house it also amazingly had central a/c. Very uncommon for a house this old to have the internal structure for that. Jeff turned on the air this morning and it is doing it's best to cool us off. I think we are going to head to the lake today to get the kids in the water and maybe find a patch of shade for me.

Wow, our posts are eerily familiar today, except the baby part. Great minds blog alike! :)

You must be getting the thunder boomer I can see to the north of me. Well, the radar showed and it and the sky looks ominous to the north. :)
