Today was my last day of work.  I still have two projects I will stay in touch on while am out.  But for the most part everything has been completed or handed off.  My boss asked me if I was sure I was coming back.  I assured I most definitely would be.  It was weird to walk away knowing I will be gone for three months.

I had my midwife appointment today also.  I told her I felt too good to be 39 weeks.  My energy has returned and the soreness and stiffness have almost completely gone away.  She said I was really lucky to be feeling this good.  Tell me about it!  I had her check under the hood.  I know it doesn't really tell you when the baby is coming but I was curious.  I was thrilled to hear I am 3 cm dilated (opening), 50-60% effaced (softening) and she could feel his head.  So he is engaged and not going anywhere but out at this point.  Even though she cautioned me that I could walk around 3cm for 2 weeks, she really feels he will be here before my appt next Friday.  It would be awesome if he came on Tuesday.
