Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Ultrachromatic
Friday night while Jeff went to pickup Isabelle, Keegan and I headed to the mall.  He really needed new jeans.  Just about the time he fits into the adjustable waist he grows taller.  I like shopping for him especially since there is no point in shopping for myself right now.  Along with jeans I ended up getting polo shirts for $2.99.  And a really cute shirt for St. Patrick's Day.  My Irish kid has got to represent.  Later that night as were putting the clothes away he shouts something I couldn't understand.  When he said it again it sounded like "ultrachromatic."  He said it again and then said I pick out the best clothes.  Apparently "ultrachromatic" is a compliment and that kid likes my style.

Saturday it snowed for most of the day giving us another eight inches this week.  That is 16 inches since last Tuesday.  I am over the snow at this point.  We did lots of chores though (Jeff had to go back to the townhouse to finish the last of the touch up painting) and then he took the kids sledding.  They don't seem weary of the snow.  Today we continued the chores as the kids watched Jeff cut a hole in the wall to move the phone line.  We were finally able to get DSL because this house is eligible but our old one wasn't.  He picked up the last of the unfinished furniture we ordered and I read a book.  I am trying to remember to put my feet up and take a break during the day.  Tonight we cooked our first real homemade meal since moving in.  It was the Moo Shu Shrimp still in the recipe sidebar.  I am feeling more settled each day.
