My Kingdom For A Seat
Yesterday I had to time drinking the glucose for my blood test with all of my other appointments.  I drank it on the way to the probate attorney's office, filled out the paperwork, wrote the checks and headed back north.  I got to the lab with nine minutes to spare before my hour was up.  They did my blood draw and then I drove across town to my midwife appointment.  After my midwife appointment I had to drive five minutes south to Tom's townhouse to meet the appliance guy.  As I was heading home Keegan's school called to report he had no appetite, had actually taken a nap and had a fever of 102.  So I picked him up and brought him home to rest until dinner time.  We had scheduled a babysitter.  So I decided to still have her come but just put him in bed early.  So basically she stayed here while he slept.  Jeff and I really needed to get back to the store to find another couch since the last one didn't fit either.  We decided to get a two piece sectional because then it would fit (we hope) and it was pretty cheap.  It should be delivered on Monday.  While we were checking out I found a great rug for the nursery.  It is 5X8 and only $149.  So Jeff rolled it up and carried it out to the car. It looks great in the room.

Keegan was up a lot all night coughing.  I gave him some more medicine but nothing seemed to help.  This morning he had a temp of 103.  I was worried about more lung trouble so I booked a doctor's appointment.  The good news is that his lungs sounded great and his rapid strep test came back negative.  So we are back at home and I canceled my meetings for the rest of day and tomorrow morning.  My grandparents were supposed to come to dinner tonight to see the new house.  But it is too risky to have them around Keegan.  Oh and it has been raining/icing since last night. An all around gray day to stay inside wrapped in blankets.
