"Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day."
I miss alcohol. This is what I said to Jeff last Saturday. I miss a glass of wine or a beer or a cocktail. Truly the taste of them. I know that some people do drink a little when they are pregnant but I choose not to. I couldn't live with myself if something went wrong. It has not been proven safe and that would take all of the enjoyment out of it. Between weeks 28 and 29 some major growth must take place. I have had all kinds of comments at work about how much I am showing. I can't see my feet when I look straight down. Bye bye feet, see you in ten weeks. I passed my glucose screening fine but I am low on iron. I had the same thing when I was pregnant with Keegan. I thought this time since I am eating so healthy I could get by. Nope one ugly black pill two times day with citrus juice. We put the crib together and talked about things we need to buy. But that is as far as we have gotten. I am starting to feel the nesting urge but will try to wait until April to focus on the nursery.

Congrats on passing the glucose test. Glad everything is going so well!
Glad you passed the glucose screen...I wouldn't wish GD hell on anyone! You are doing great...not much longer for you to go!
Congrats on passing your glucose test, and as for the alcohol, I always want something I cannot have. some people choose to drink but I would forever be ridden with guilt if I did and something went wrong. Why dont you try that fake wine crap they sell on new years lol it taste like alcohol but its a virgin drink.
