We took the kids and my mom to N*mo On Ice this past weekend. Except for the excessive merchandising, it was fun. The kids were enthralled and it is Keegan's favorite movie that he watches at my parent's house (because it is the only kid movie they have). We gave them the tickets for Christmas and then it had seemed so far away. But here we are in February. Everything is all set to close on the house next week. We have been picking paint colors, hiring painters and switching all the bills. And packing. Oh the packing. Endless. Mostly because we are dealing with unfinished chores we avoided for the past year and a half. I spent hours the other night sorting through the paperwork for the estate. I still had it in the box I carried it out in from Tom's house when he died. But that is all set and should make all the rest of the related tasks much easier from now on.
And today we fly to San Francisco. I have a board meeting and Jeff wanted to come along. This will probably be our only babymoon because we have so much else going on. It should be fun. And with rain the past two days on top of pounds on snow I am ready for a burst of warmer weather. We fly back on Sunday so we have a little time to explore together.
