Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Split Ends
I lost my hair stylist this week.  She is MIA.  I called to change my appointment and they told me she no longer works there.  It sounds corny but I am devastated.  I can't move on yet to a new one or new salon but I desperately need to do something.  We have been through a lot together.  My divorce, my engagement, she did my wedding hair she even knew Tom because we brought Keegan in for a haircut together.  And finally my pregnancy.  We were making a plan to possibly write some legislation together.  This was more than your usual stylist/client relationship.  I am pissed at the salon because they won't tell you anything.  That whole not being able to contact clients thing is asinine.  It's not like I want to go back to them after this so they might as well point me to where she works now.  She has a common name so she is harder for me to find.  She could totally call me.  My name is not common in NH.  And my hyphenated name makes me the only one is the US.  I've feel dumped.  And my roots are crying out for closure!

Sorry you lost your hairstylist - I was just telling someone yesterday about her daughter's t-shirt. Maybe for your birthday you'll get a clue as to where she's moved. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Maybe once she finds a new salon, she'll get in touch with you. The girl who waxes my eyebrows did that-she called to let me know she left the salon I was using and let me know where she was...I kept going to the old place for a bit because it was more convenient...but I switched and followed her because she does a better job. Hopefully she managed to snag a few numbers on her way out the door...you never know!
