Bag Of Loot
Tonight they closed down Main Street for trick or treating.  This was the first year I went.  Keegan and I joined our neighbor and her son.  He was a fireman and Keegan was a fairy which was the costume he picked out when we went to Storyland earlier this year.  I had no idea the event would be so popular.  It's a marketing thing for the stores too because you have to enter the store to get a treat and therefore you look around too.  A lot of the places had to keep running to CVS to buy more candy.  I am not a huge fan of crowds but we did okay.  We made a dinner stop along the way.  I had a sweet potato soft taco which I have never even heard of before.  Keegan ran into some friends along the way.  One kid who was dressed as a scary pirate knew Keegan from school.  He told Keegan that only girls were fairies.  I told him that there are boy fairies too and they are called sparrowmen.  He said, "oh."  Yeah kid, read a book.  Okay I didn't say that last part because although I am defending my child I don't think it's necessary to make a 6 year old feel bad.  There are only a few more years where he is going to be innocent enough to wear sparkly wings, a tulle skirt and a headband.  Or maybe not.
