Curried Beef Short Ribs

Note: I found this was more realistically four servings.

Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Clear The Clutter

The baseball game Wed night was fun. Keegan did really well considering how late it was and that it required him to sit in one place for hours. We got him one of those ice cream that is served in a mini batting helmet. He wanted to bring it home and give it to Sammy because he thought it would fit him. After I explained that it was too small he decided to keep it and it will become a momento of his first game.
Thursday we went to another Red Sox game. We did not take Keegan since it was a later one. My mom came up to stay with him. We brought along my dad and Erika. She and I joked that we hadn't had an in-person conversation in what feels like forever. It was another fun game and worth getting home close to 1am. Until I woke up five hours later. Ugh. I had a early meeting down south and then I took the rest of the day off to get my hair done and relax. I told my stylist that I wanted a change. She had recently taken a class with Paul Mitchell's son and suggested we do a new color technique. So I went for it and it turned out beautifully. I will say it totally not something you would expect from me because my style is fairly conservative. But it's fun and a little wild. We'll see what Jeff says when he gets home tonight. ;)
My stylist told me about a shirt she bought for her daughter, "My mom can fix your mom's $10 haircut." Classic. Also while I was there one of the two NH congressional representatives sat down in the chair next to me. Yet another thing to love about living in a small state. The woman doing his hair asked all kinds of questions about what he does in Washington and he was really friendly and down to earth. He has my vote again next time. Of course it helps that he is a Democrat and has a health care plan in the works.
Tonight it was pizza and a movie for Keegan and I. And I picked up in preparation for our open house tomorrow. Now I am going to go eat some of the buffalo wings I ordered out of an overpowering craving.

Edited: When Jeff came home he said my hair looks "foxy." So apparently it has the power to transport you back to 1967. Maybe I should go here from now on.
