Scenic Sky Ride

Cooking class Friday night was so much fun. There were three couples, one chef and one assistant chef. We jumped right in with food prep and got to drink wine while grilling. After everything was ready we ate together and then they packed up leftovers for us to bring home. There was so much food we took it over to my parents house the next day. They were also very impressed with the barbeque and different techniques. We spent a beautiful day on the lake and it was also the 2nd annual boat parade. We did not enter but we followed the parade and the kids loved the superhero themed decorations. My parents' neighbor ended up winning first place for his Superman theme. That night I had a banana split for dinner because sometimes you just have to skip right to dessert. It was good but I have had my fill for the season. Sunday we were up early to head north to Attitash. I was surprised at how much the kids loved the alpine slide. They weren't scared at all. We also did the waterslides. Isabelle and I went down the one that Keegan was too short for. They both also loved the bungy trampoline thing. We have video of them giggling and bouncing. Before we left they also tried the climbing wall. Both did well but got scared when they felt they were up too high. They will eventually learn to trust the belay line. Jeff got to drive home while we slept because a day of sun will really take it out of you.
