Marriage Meme

Got this from Chatty:

1. Where/How did you meet?
We met before at a few events but didn't really know each other. When both of our marriages ended my best friend suggested we might be a good support for each other. She was right. We emailed and then talked on the phone a few times before meeting up.

2. How long have you known each other?
Knew of each other for several years but really for a little over two.

3. How long after you met did you start dating?
We talked on the phone for a week and then we met that weekend. After the first kiss it was beyond our control.

4. How long did you date before you were engaged?
One year but we knew on the third date.

5. How long was your engagement?
Six months.

6. How long have you been married?

Reading the vows we wrote each other and living our dream.

16. Any funny moments?
The waves being so loud at points we couldn't hear.
My dad sitting in the hair salon waiting for me leafing through People magazine. He is so not a pop culture/celebrity gossip kind of guy.

17. Any big disasters?
Almost a minor disaster because the hair place was closed even though I made an appointment and I was stuck outside a locked gate with only chickens to keep me company. But my wedding planner tracked down the owner and she came and did a beautiful job.

To an all inclusive resort on the other side of the island for two nights and then came back to the villa.

Yes and we kept the message inside a secret until our wedding night.
