Curried Beef Short Ribs

Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Ab-Original

This morning after dropping Keegan at school I cleaned the house and left because we had a showing at 11am. I decided since I have been such a good girl that I would get a pedicure. I went to one of those quick nail places and got ultra-pink toes for $20. What a bargain. While I was waiting for them to dry I checked out their fish tank. Among the other fish they had black goldfish. I had one of those when I was a kid. It's name was Darthy Vader, because it was girl and it was 1979.
After that it was lunch and then the quest to find more shorts. I struck out at Old N*vy but did get some other things. I struck out at two more stores which didn't stop me from buying other summer clothes and then finally found two pairs at the G*p. Can I be lame and admit that I have more fun shopping when Jeff is there?
Then it was to T*rget for beach essentials and on a tip from Sarah's site two headbands. Now I am home and proscrastinating the task of actually packing.
Tonight I am going out with the Selfish Mom's to say goodbye to one us who is moving to Western Mass. Meanwhile Jeff is taking Keegan to a baseball game. In fact we will probably be able to see each other from a distance because the ladies and I are going to be at a place overlooking the field.
