Update on the housing situation. Activity has picked up but still no contract on mine. We had showings on Monday and Wednesday. It is always good feedback but never an offer. Hopefully that will change in the next few weeks. I went to the home inspection Wednesday on the one we have a contract on. It went very well and I learned a lot about old houses. I got a few tips and some referrals for contractors for when we want to finish the third floor. It would make such a cool room. Despite myself I am falling more in love with it. I got to really linger and mentally place furniture and paint walls and imagine window treatments. I would put up pics but I don't want to jinx it further.
I wrestled the dogs into the kennel this morning. So I am covered in fur and my arms are sore. But they are all safe and sound for the weekend. This is the snow check on visiting Jeff's mom that we took when we had the storm two weeks ago. The kids are excited about the road trip adventure.
Don't want to jinx the good stuff we have going at work by saying too much too soon. It is not anything for me but for the people we serve and that is always better.
