Feeling Bookish

Chatty reminded me that I have books to pass on. Let me know if you want them.

The Kite Runner (good, I was okay with the ending but it bothers some people)
The Dogs of Babel (probably not the best idea to read a book about a spouse dying alone with only the dog as a witness)
Cocktails for Three (girlie book)

I finished Nickle and Dimed but I am passing it on to my mom and then anyone who is a republican or in danger of becoming one.

I am three quarters of the way through Middlesex and loving it. That one is from a friend's personal library so it won't be up for grabs. But you should find a copy of your own. A really excellent book.

Hey - could I get the Kite Runner from you? I've been thinking of getting it but hadn't yet. Also, I'll have one or two more for you in March (chickie ones, not as depressing as Dogs of Babel - sorry!) Got your message, will try to call later - just back from Ireland.
