Good eats from this past week. Whenever we plan the menu and shopping list we try to use up things we bought for recipes before or things that have been lingering. Also we allow for leftovers to bring to work for lunch and less complicated meals for weeknights.
Chicken and Mushrooms in Garlic White Wine Sauce
Seven-Layer Tortilla Pie (bonus, it's vegetarian)
Chicken in thai peanut sauce (follow recipe on back of sauce packet)
Penne with Brussels Sprouts and Crisp Bacon (I always hated brussel sprouts this recipe has made me love them and it is yummy for leftovers.)
We also made Crabmeat Ravioli with Clam Sauce but I won't post the recipe because it was not good. Maybe I just couldn't get past the whole wonton wrappers in tomato sauce. But it lacked anything special taste-wise.
