Here's an update on something I haven't mentioned in a while. We are still selling my house. We are still hoping to buy/build the new one with all of the stuff we picked out, lo those many months ago. The market, she is crap. Probably pretty good if you are a buyer without anything to sell, but otherwise crap. I have heard it is actually a great time to get a deal around here on a new house because the builders are losing their shorts.
At least the amount of people looking at my house has increased. They all say it is beautiful, love the kitchen, love the colors, blah blah. No offers. But because weird things always happen to me I do have two interested buyers. One is a merchant marine who is out to sea right now but if it is still available when he comes back in Jan then he wants to buy it. Today I got a guy from Texas who has only seen it online but wants to make an offer when he comes to visit in Jan. So either it's sold in Jan or we keep chugging along.
