In honor of National Influenza Vaccination Week --- November 27--December 3, 2006 I had my flu shot yesterday. I don't have a problem with needles but I hate how sore it makes your arm. Still way better than getting the flu!
More birthday celebrating today. My friend Michelle, who made my wedding necklace, made me a gorgeous garnet and jade necklace. For lunch Erika and Sammy came up to take me out. We lucked out and picked a place that was having a Toys For Tots buffet fundraiser. Marines, Santa, yummy dessert cart and all for a good cause. You can't beat that. Erika gave me a beautiful handmade card and a silver necklace with a garnet and stone pendant. When I returned to work I had no sooner sat down than one of the secretaries brought me a stunning arrangement of Gerber daisies from Jeff.
