Lots of friends, fun and food these past few days. Saturday we had sports class and Keegan played t-ball for the first time. Then we went grocery shopping and home for lunch and nap. We cooked while he slept because we were heading down to the Reilly's for football and chili. We brought Graham Cracker-and-Pecan Praline Popcorn and Blueberry Pound Cake. The chili was great and Jeff left with a big grin because they packed him a big old container to take for lunch this week. Today Jenny, Adam, Doodles and Sweetie Pie came up for brunch. I love any chance to cook for people. We made Orange-Pecan French Toast Casserole, Ham and Asparagus Frittata and a citrus salad (two tangerines, two oranges and three pink grapefruit). We dragged out the coffeemaker but had to wait until they showed up so Jenny could show us how to use it because that's how often we make. :) After they headed home Keegan went down for quiet time (nap boycott today) and Jeff and I planned our Thanksgiving menu. He is off picking up Isabelle and then we are going to the mall for some winter coat shopping.
