Thanksgiving is shaping up. I have prepared two dishes and have five more to go. None of them is challenging so it should be fairly relaxed. I am working a half day today and then taking Keegan for his flu shot and then down to hang out at my mom's house. Tonight Jeff and I will do more cooking prep. He has always wanted to make bread so the rolls are all him. Thanks to all of you for your recipes.
Mom is doing the turkey, stuffing, gravy and sweet potatoes. Dad ordered three pies so I won't be doing my specialty, pecan.
Here's the menu from our kitchen:
Amber's Cranberry/Cherry Sauce
Erin's Parmesan Garlic Basil Mashed Potatoes
Cranberry Orange Relish (from the bag of cranberries but we've been making it for years.)
Brussel Sprouts With Honey-Glazed Pearl Onions and Capocollo (this month's Cooking Light)
Green Beans With Toasted Hazelnut-Lemon Butter (this month's CL)
Cheesy Spinach-Artichoke Dip (in archives)
Smoked-Gouda Rolls (CL)
