Blue Thumbs

Weekend was good we seemed to have had an "all american" theme. On Sat we played at the lake and then the kids napped (or in Keegan's case poked me for an hour and a half while I tried to nap). We headed to a minor league baseball game and reached our goal of making it to the 5th inning. It was Keegan's first time and we weren't sure how he would do. They both did pretty well and we left at the bottom of the 6th before they got ugly. But not before I bought Keegan a ball cap and logo playground ball for his dribbling obsession. That night Jeff and I watched The Family Stone and it was actually pretty good. On Sunday we went to a garden center to get some flowers and we decided to pick our own blueberries. The kids looked so cute with the little buckets and they eat a ton of blueberries so it was good for them to see where they come from. We only picked for a short time and got plenty to tide us through. After lunch Jeff and Isabelle headed home and Keegan and I off to nap. I am fighting a sore throat and really worried about not getting sick. Tom came around 4pm to pickup the dogs and Keegan. I decided I need some down time so I watched Hope Floats on tv. When it cooled off I planted the flowers, repotted the pepper and lemon basil and wrestled the grape tomato into it's cage. After chores I read for class and then stumbled to bed.
