Yesterday was a great day to be on the lake. We swam, ate, kids napped, swam and ate again. I wish I had today off to recover. I spent this morning in Boston registering for class, getting my ID and attending an orientation session. I also picked up my syllabus and readings. All the while trying not to give in to an inferiority complex. Started with the two people who met behind me in line and discovered they were both oncologists. Then the two women getting their IDs who had come from England. And then as I smeared my bagel the women who told her friend she still wasn't acclimated after returning from spending the summer in Rwanda. Um, yeah.
I will survive this class by organization and discipline. Like stopping blogging and going to do my reading. Of course this is the week Keegan starts having sleeping problems. Well more like staying in his new bed problems. I just spent the last 20 minutes listening to him cry and holding the door knob so he wouldn't come out. He is quiet now and I hope asleep. I could so go to bed right now. But first laundry and feeding the brain.
PS Note to self: Do not wear heels to class tomorrow. That twenty block walk will ruin my feet for good.
