Eternally Damp

Raining. I'm sure you have seen it on the news. Friends from all over the country have emailed inquiring as to how we are doing up here. Most of the schools in the state are closed. Everyone at work has a story about basements flooding and road closures. We're waiting to see how the rivers do as they crest. Keegan's daycare opened later due to the closings but he is there and safe. Our house is on high ground so I'm not worried on that front. To quote Keegan, "Stop it! Stop it water!"

Isn't it unreal? No school today or tomorrow. My town is shut down. No roads open - didja hear. It's nuts. I hope my husband can get home. He also went to the store on the way home. he's nuts. But, we do have a nice pool in the back now. Wanna come by? Misquitoes are free! LOL
