Most of my friends are married and moving into baby mode. So I haven't been to a wedding in a while and I haven't shopped a registry in that long either. A co-worker is getting married in May and her shower is coming up in a few weeks. I was looking through her selections for an appropriate shower gift. I like nice things but is it really necessary to have a $45 shower head? That better be one really satisfying shower. And it would have to be where you are enclosed by a $50 shower curtain. I probably wouldn't be as disturbed if I didn't know that these people have serious financial issues. But who am I to crush their gift dreams? So I chose cheese knives. There's something I can get behind.
