Tuesday was Keegan's one year follow up to having the tubes put in his ears. He checked out great and they are still in place. I was kind of hoping they were grown out because getting him to wear plugs before he puts his head under water is no fun. But this way he'll have all the extra time he needs to grow those ears to avoid future problems.
My mom came to watch him for me because I had a dinner meeting. And Jeff called to see if I wanted him to come see me Tuesday night instead of waiting until Wed as we planned. So we ended up arriving at my house at the exact same time.
Yesterday I had an day long conference that I was helping host. It was local which is rare and nice. I think it went well and I spoke with quite few people in the NE region. After that Jeff and I went shopping for clothes for our vacation. You got to love a guy who likes to shop and give opinions and they are good ones. He really didn't seem to mind that it took over four hours to get everything we need. On Sunday he'll help me shoe shop and then I should be all set. Don't get me started on the annoying shorts lengths for the summer. Ugh. I only bought one pair and I got capris and skirts. I picked up a couple of things for Keegan too. And a dress. Because a really cute dress is just another excuse to go out to dinner. He headed back this morning but he'll be back tomorrow for the weekend. I'm a lucky girl.
My second interview is set for next week. I have meetings and my grant to work on the rest of today. So this is my only break. It's going to be in the 70s today and I just want to run screaming from the building.

One more day until vacation. I can't wait. Scott HATES to shop. His mother ruined him as a kid dragging him to stores. Boat, ATV or car shopping he doesn't mind though! LOL New dog arriving Sunday! Exciting!
A guy who likes to shop with you? What more could you ask for? He's a definite keeper. :)
