Doodlebug Two

Yesterday after work I went down to see Erika, Jay and Sammy. I brought them a supply of the organic diapers they like since my store was fully stocked. I was also able to get a new bar of the Burt's Bees buttermilk soap that I use on Keegan. Sammy was snoozing when I got there but woke up later to eat and bat those gorgeous eyes. We all chowed down on Chinese while I brought them news of the outside world. They looked great and completely had everything under control. Really I was impressed. No offense but when you walk into the house of a newborn you expect the worst. But then again not everyone's experience is like mine. Thank goodness. They were groomed, dressed in clean clothes, had laundry done and the house picked up. Oh and they had that parental calm that only seems to come with time. I always knew that Erika had a maternal instinct. Because if you know anything about her at all, she is a loving and generous nurturer. It is so wonderful to see her and Jay truly perform as a team. Makes me look forward to having another baby.
