Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Cliche TGIF

Yesterday went well. I had positive feedback on my presentations. I loved how my new oufit looked. I woke up and my hair was a little weird but I was able to fix it by straightening out the tumbleweed on my left side with a curling iron. Then it was poofy but it flattened during the hour and a half drive. Right before I left I dabbed on some of the aromatherapy that Anathea sent me. It must have done the trick because I was cool as a cucumber. So that's over with and I can get back to the other million things on my plate. April is going to be ugly.
Last night I met my mom for shopping. I tried on three different suits and combinations and settled on one that I think looks good and has many future options for variations. I also got a few more other pieces for work and a two piece swimsuit. Oh and drinking glasses with chunky bottoms, flowerpots (they're bees!) and some picture frames. It was so late when we were done we skipped our dinner plans and I headed home.
Today at work is crap so let's just skip it.
I am going to leave early today and pick Keegan up at Tom's since he stayed out of daycare today in order to spend time with his paternal grandparents. Then Jeff and Isabelle will meet us at my house and we're heading to NY. I haven't seen Jeff's mom since his father's funeral so we thought Spring would be a good time to take a trip. It is the perfect time for a little getaway. I need to get away and spend some quiet family time.
