I am back. I mean that figuratively and literally. I felt well enough with lots of napping to head down to DC on Thursday. My flight was delayed on the way down but I got in not too late and we had dinner with the couple of folks already there. Everyone else turned up between then and Fri evening. The snowstorm caused several of them to leave the earlier than planned so some were there for less than twenty-four hours. I was delayed an hour today trying to get back because Manchester Airport had no visibility. But I got back and eventually picked up Keegan and we got home and only had a half hour until bedtime routine. But at least I am home and I got to be with him. I am dreading work tomorrow because there must be a million things piled up. And even though I am definitely on the mend I am still recovering and therefore tire easily. The weekend was totally worth it. They are the most amazing, beautiful, intelligent, gutsy and fun women every assembled. I am so grateful we met each other in college and remain friends to this day. I really needed that time with them. More details on the festivities later. I want to unpack and unwind.

Glad you're home safe and sound. I always think of you and Nisa when there's inclement weather in New England. I've been imaginng all that hush of falling snow, though, and feeling a bit envious. Too much sun can be depressing sometimes, believe it or not.
Can't wait to hear all about the fun shower and getting to see all your friends. Hope you're feeling back to 100% now.
We need that time with you, too! I told Patrick that although I was there for all of the scheduled activities - what I really wanted to do, and didn't get the chance to, was sit with all of you in front of the fire with a glass of wine and just chill. Oh well, it was still a great 20 hours - and there's always next time!
