Hope Sprouts

I remembered something yesterday. February is the time every year when I get bummed out. So going into it already on the edge does not bode well. However this February brings good things too. I have a trip to my fake sorority reunion/baby showers (the reunion is real but the sorority is fake), the impending birth of my nephew Sammy and tickets to a matinee of the touring company of Les Miserables. That should help keep me from sinking until March rolls around. Usually I plant and grow some seedlings in preparation for my garden and that helps me anticipate Spring. I don't have a garden this year but I can do some container gardening. So maybe we'll plant some seeds and see how they do in Keegan's window.

February has always been the month where I kind of hit bottom...but Sammy's arrival should perk us up. Today we celebrate the 5 year anniversary of my father in law's brain surgery to remove a tumor. He's doing amazingly well, and so we're being positive today...even though we have a family funeral to attend tomorrow and my best friend is STILL in the hospital from her car accident last week (she's ok, they just keep forgetting about her). The month can only get better from here!

February is usually such a long long month...depressive. I am hoping things pick up and the weather stays as mild as it has been.

You've got great things coming up. A lot to be excited and grateful for! ;)
