I was thinking I'd wake up next to Erika this morning. A dream come true. However when I got up I discovered she had left me around 5am. I found her on the couch. It turns out I was snuggled up with her body pillow. She's sneaky like that. We went out for italian last night with our two moms. We've been best friends for four years and this is the first time our moms met. I think they liked each other and they both thought the other one was gorgeous. Grownups are cute like that. After dinner I sent my mom home and went back to Erika's where we chatted and then headed to bed. This morning Erika's mom made banana pancakes and scrambled eggs. I left them to their plans and headed home. My mom is on her way to my house and we're going to tackle the garage, dig out some holiday decorations and hopefull fit my car in the garage. Then we'll pick up Keegan, do dinner and watch a movie after he goes to bed. She is staying over and helping me some more tomorrow before she has to pick my dad up at the airport.
Did you know it is national something falls out of your pickup truck day? No lie on the way home I saw a guy lose a ladder in MA, a guy lose screen windows in southern NH and a guy lose a load of hay right before my exit.
Edited: My present from Erika & Jay was a cookbook of recipes for couples from famous restaurants all around the country. And it comes with a jazz cd to listen to while cooking. How perfect is that?

I stayed home alone today and graded poetry books. We are going for a drive in a bit to check out holiday lights. I think we may be a week too early. Glad you had a good time!
I just missed a falling shovel last week and the day before while sitting at a light, I said to myself "that toolbox on the tailgate doesn't look stable". So he pulled out, it fell off, and I hit it. Tools everywhere.
