It's My Party

Everybody left about 20 minutes ago. I think it was a success. All but one showed up in pyjamas as requested. They loved my house, they loved my color scheme, they loved my favors. One mom said I should be very proud of the home I have created after everything I have been through. That was nice to hear. I was so nervous before everyone showed up. I don't know why but those ten minutes beforehand I was all fidgety. But once they started showing up I was completely comfortable. I focused on enjoying their company instead of running around making sure everything was perfect. They are resourceful so if they needed something, they went into my cabinets and found it. Now I am disappointed that it will be almost another year before I get to host again. Bonus, they left behind two bottles of wine and some food I plan on taking into the office tomorrow to get rid of. The only moms who couldn't make it either didn't have a babysitter or they are working on a major crime scene. Both good excuses. I haven't decided what I am spending my selfish money on. I was going to go for a massage but my mom is treating me to one after the holidays. Any suggestions?
