The garage, she is done. Well just about. I need to unpack my winter clothes boxes and pack them with summer stuff. And I need to dive into my book collection, pull out what I need to have on shelves and consolidate the rest. It's like Christmas already because I found all of this stuff I forgot I owned. We hung all of my art and shelves up. I put aside some pieces I'd like to sell. I also have some furniture that needs to go. I put up almost all of the holiday decorations that I am planning to. It's easy because I can't put anything outside and I'm not having a tree. We have three gold and beaded trees from P*er One to symbolize the live pine I used to have each year when married. I brought Tom over decorations since he is hosting his family. I need to go through all of the tree ornaments and send him the ones I think he wants. Turns out that Keegan loves snowmen and moose which seems to be the better part of my holiday decorating theme.
Speaking of Keegan, he is teething so he's been bi-polar today. Either happy and giggly or an absolute bear. All he wanted for dinner was goldfish crackers. Fortunately he agreed that going to bed early is a good idea.
Well I'm off to drag out the ton of garbage and shovel the walkway (2 inches maybe). Then I need to catch up on Tivo which will be my treat right after I do laundry and fish out more winter clothes. Oh crap and the dishes.
PS I didn't eat both pieces of leftover cheesecake. I shared with my mom. We got fresh blackberries to put along with the strawberry syrup. Then we watched "Mad Hot Ballroom." It was good and made me miss working with kids.
