I guess I missed this email when it came around earlier in the year. New workplace words for 2005. I picked the ones that seem to apply here or in my former life.

Seagull Manager- A manager who flies in, makes alot of noise, craps on everything and then leaves.

Salmon Day- The experience of spending an entire day swimming upstream only to get screwed and die in the end.

Stress Puppy (we all know one of these)- A person who seems to thrive on being stressed out and whiney.

Adminisphere (apparently true for anyone who works in technology)- The rarefied organizational layers beginning just above the rank and file. Decisions that fall from the adminishpere are often profoundly inappropriate or irrelevant to the problems they were designed to solve.

Ohnosecond- That miniscule fraction of time in which you realize that you've just made a BIG mistake.
