The good news is that we're back. The really good news is that I have internet at home. Sweet, beautiful, super-fast internet. How I love it.
Weekend was really nice. Knock on wood but I'm having a run on them lately. We had a nice drive over to NY Sat morning. I had done the first part a million times when we had a place in Killington to go to on the weekends. After we got settled at Jeff's parents' house I went on the obligatory tour of Saratoga Springs' water. Some of those things really stank of sulphur. But I had promised to try them all. The worst was the last one which Jeff said I didn't have to try but I did it because I believe you should finish what you start. Oddly enough the kids seemed to like the water tasting. It gave us an excuse to walk through the woods and skip through the leaves. We also had some fun at the playground and then headed home for dinner. Today we left around 11 and drove back home. We stopped at a place I used to shop at for cider, aged Vermont cheddar and to let the kids running all over the hillside. Jeff took tons of pics and when I get the chance I will put some on the password site.
