Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Tic Or Twitch

I got into the office at 3pm today. I love outside meetings, especially when they are nice weather drives. I also love meetings that result in action plans that you feel will really come to fruition.
I had my neurology consult this morning, number two of the referrals that resulted from my physical. Going to the doctor begets more doctors and tests. The good news is that he doesn't know what is wrong with me. The bad news is that he doesn't know what is wrong with me. We're calling it focal myclonus for now. So I had some bloodwork and I am getting an MRI. Bring on the sedatives to get me in that contraption. (Barb unless you want to come up and talk me through it.) There are treatment options for the symptoms but I am going to pass on medication for now. Acupuncture and massage therapy are also options. It would be great to make it go away but I will be satisfied to rule out any underlying problems. I know that sometimes weird episodes can end up being something more serious. That is how my mom's MS manifested.
On the super positive front I start yoga tonight. I haven't been since I got pregnant with Keegan and I can hardly remember how much I use to love it.

what is going on?? you know I would do that. Do you want to come to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for your MRI?? You don't need sedation...just take your favorite CD, you'll be fine!!
Love You!

I had no idea. I'm praying normal results for your MRI! On the other hand, it sounds like you know something is wrong and finding out something rather than nothing is probably more appealing to you right now.

I thought I would have a chance to call last night so I didn't comment when I saw this yesterday. What's going on lady? I have had two MRI's - one on my knee (easy peasy, fell asleep during some of it) and one going in head first - a little bit uncomfortable but not too bad - just remember, deep breaths! Hope to talk to you soon.

I'm thinking positive thoughts...my father in law goes for MRIs every 6 months and has to be sedated each time...just make sure you have someone to drive you there and back...he picks up his pill the day before and takes it a half hour before the MRI, and it usually makes him foggy for a few hours afterwards.
