Simple Gifts

I had my performance review at work yesterday because I have almost been here a year. I can't believe it. I have learned so much but there is still so much more to learn and do. It helps that I absolutely love it. All the feedback on my review was very positive and I was reassured that I am going in the right direction and taking the appropriate leadership role. My career is very important to me and I am constantly looking for ways to continue growing. But the best compliment I got this week came from a friend.

"I always feel better when I talk to you."

Thanks, Erika. Me too.
