Hot Date

Keegan and I decided to celebrate by going on a date. We celebrated him sleeping through the night by himself and us living in our new home for three months. And we celebrated our motto, "Not just surviving, but thriving!"
Unfortunately he's no cheap date so we went to Ou*tback Steakhouse. He did such a nice job sitting in his booster seat. I tried to get him to eat the shrimp but he decided he'd rather lick the dipping sauce off. For our next course he ate all the cheese out of my salad. We ended up bringing most of his cheesburger and my steak home. He wasn't loud or fussy and I didn't want to push his limits and ruin the evening. When we got home we had a nice walk on his trike. We went farther than last night but not too far so we could get home before the mosquitos came out. We're all justifiably paranoid about EEE and West Nile around here.
We ended the evening with yogurt covered rasins for dessert and some dancing. My neighbors must look through our window and think I'm a nut. They probably can't see him at all and think I'm waving my arms wildly all by myself. Oh well.
