Curried Beef Short Ribs

Note: I found this was more realistically four servings.

Finishing this dish with lime zest and juice brightens its rich flavors.

Hammers, Screws, Chops & Bakes

Master Keegan has spent the last two nights sleeping in his crib. He still fusses at first and then wakes in the middle of the night and fusses again but he usually goes back to sleep within 15 minutes. So definitely an improvement. He wakes up in a good mood and apparently isn't holding a grudge against me. That's awfully nice of him.
Yesterday after daycare we decided to go to the toy store. We browsed alot of ideas but we're going to wait until closer to age two for all the really cool toys. Keegan did pick out a set of leg*s blocks and we got a pump to refill all of his sad deflated basketballs and soccerballs all over the house. We also walked out of there with a toddler trike. It has a handle on the back so I can push him while he rests his feet. Sweet deal for him. When he gets old enough to pedal the handle comes off. It was only $24. As soon as I get an engineering degree I'll be able to finish assembling it. The directions involve using a hammer. You've gotta love that.
I have this month's Selfish Mother's Club tonight. Tom is already running late so he asked me to pick Keegan up. I am glad I had pretty much decided on a simple recipe. Now I can still make the "Adobo Chips w/ Warm Goat Cheese & Cilantro Salsa" with him underfoot. I will let you know how it turns out.
