August Is Half Over Already?

I tried out a new salon last night. As much as I liked my previous stylist, I'm not driving 45 minutes for a haircut/brow wax. So I picked a place across from Keegan's daycare and it had a good website. You see can see how much I care. I enjoy a good gamble with my hair don't you? She talked me into higlights and I agreed. I was a blond when I walked in (not a real blond since I graduated from high school). But kids there really is a difference between a $9 box of dye and a professional foil. Sometimes it's good to remind myself of that. So I am really happy with the cut, color and brows. I think I've found a new beauty home.

Tomorrow my parents will be helping me host a playdate. Some of Keegan's old friends (they go way back to 8 weeks old) are coming to play at the lake. My dad is actually really excited about little boys running all about. Because I'm still fighting my Mexican cravings I am serving chicken enchiladas, again. I will have to balance pre-meal prep tonight with my Friday night movie. Those N*etflix envelopes have been sitting around way too long. Work is going to be nuts next week, so I might as well relax this weekend while I can.

Do me a favor and dust off the old raindance steps. The weather here is positively wretched.
