Back to work after a week off. Piles of emails, voicemails and in-box to wade through. Ugh.

Had a nice vacation. My friend Lara came from Dallas to visit so we went all around New Hampshire & Vermont. We only had time to do the highlights so I hope she comes back for another visit. If you are ever in the area I encourage you to make a trip to Saint-Gaudens. Absolutely beautiful and very interesting. They also have an artist in residence program so we chatted with this year's sculptor.

Didn't end up having dinner with Holly & Patrick on July 1st because they got trapped crossing the border from Canada for five hours. But I did get to visit a little the next day at her mom's wedding in Maine. Hard to have conversations with Master Keegan running through the yard, barn and towards the pond. I was completely exhausted after that day. Spent some of the non-rainy times at the parent's house for boat rides and building sand castles. Had a nice relaxing 4th at Erika & Jay's cookout. Did a few errands related to getting settled into the house. I think that sums it up.

Tom helped me order a computer so hopefully I will up on the internet at home at the end of the month. Then I can get caught up on my blog reading and emailing.
