I was really hoping my transponster would arrive before I left for NJ this weekend. Anything to make the drive less frustrating. It is the time of year for our family reunion. Same date and same location (family farm) for atleast 60 years. So as much as I keep talking myself out of going, I'm totally going. Keegan and I are road tripping with my dad. My plan is to drive the first leg and have him sleep (dad). It will be much more pleasant for both of us that way. He frowns on the whole speeding thing. It's really hard to break any rules when your dad is retired military.
The point is to get together with family and I do love seeing my brother, SIL and nieces. This year Keegan is big enough to run with the whole pack of children that is sure to be there. I am counting on some other family scandal overshadowing my divorce news. After the initial answering of questions about where Tom is, I'm sure they'll drop it. Keegan's daycare induced black eye is bound to raise some eyebrows. This year I might mix it up a little and wander more. Maybe spend some time with the "wild group" who position themselves across from the "holy rollers" around the pool. Ah genetic bonds are so fun.
