Got back from Chicago late Wed night. Keegan was sent home sick from daycare on Thurs. morning. Tom kept him until my proposal review was over and then I had him the rest of the day and night. He woke up at 6am with a high fever. A visit to the ped confirmed that his tubes are fine but he has the "summer virus." Like the mysterious winter one, just no cold symptoms. The doc described it as high fever, no interest in food and very grouchy. That's him! I dropped him with Tom in the afternoon and he seemed better after having motrin and more rest. So a crazy end to a crazy week. I am here tying up loose ends at work and then I am taking next week off.

Plans include: wedding at the shore, playing at the lake, cookout with friends on the 4th, day trips with my friend Lara who is on her way from Dallas and hopefully getting the rest of the boxes unpacked.
