Keegan's daycare teacher ended up having to cancel for Sat. because her son was sick. So he helped out with the packing. He was a good little guy and he can't help but be distracting. He's so darn cute. We own way too much stuff. We put a pretty good dent in the packing but still need a full day's work. I am taking tomorrow off and Tom's parents are on their way up today to help out as well.
Master Keegan attended a birthday party yesterday afternoon. Seems like so long since his one year party but it's only been five months. After overcoming intial shyness, he was back to being fiercely independent. I chased him around the yard until I finally dragged him inside to cool off. It was good to see some of my other mom friends as it seems we've all been really busy this past month. The party was a nice break for both of us.
Work is nuts today but I think mostly in part because I'm trying to wrap things up for the week. I will be in some but mostly to run some meetings and for conference calls. I will try to juggle voicemails and do some things from home in the midst of chaos. I won't believe that these house sales and purchases are actually real until they are safely over and done with. I don't even get to see my finished townhouse until Wed. Let's keep our fingers crossed that everything there is all set.
