I am having a hard time with daylight savings time. Keegan was wired until 9 pm last night and then hard to wake this morning. I was so out of it that I mixed up packing our lunches. That kid almost got spicy peanut stir fry and I would have had a baby yogurt. All in all it was a good weekend.
Saturday Keegan & I took Erika shopping and had lunch with my cousin. I will crave that food until I give up and drive over an hour to eat there again. While shopping I saw some things I'd like to go back for once I move in. We also picked up some yummy treats at Trader Joes. Can I get a shout out for fruit leather?
Sunday I took my mom to a quilting bee. Don't laugh. It was my first time. A friend from work was doing it as a project with her youth group. We created quilts to go to HIV/AIDS, drug or alcohol and at-risk babies and toddlers. I must say that I really had a good time. Mom & I came up with a color scheme and pattern. I cut the fabric and came up with the design while she sewed. We have to finish it up on our own and then turn it in to the group. Someday I really should learn to sew. I have years of costumes and projects ahead of me.
We had three showings this weekend and got good feedback. Hopefully we'll get an offer this week. I am not in hurry to close but I will feel better once we are progressing in that direction. In the mornings while I am getting dressed I mentally pack all of my stuff and I am just dreading the move. I hate the whole rush to get out of one house while hanging in limbo for the next one. I am going to take this opportunity to really downsize my life.

I wish we had a Trader Joes up here.
Oh, and as someone who has recently done it, moving sucks. Getting in and doing the rearranging and decorating is a blast. I feel for you.
Fruit leather = fruit roll ups? Sounds very interesting, I used to love those! There is an O'Naturals right down the street from us in Davis Square, figures they open right when we're moving away!
